Traditionally, Energy Outreach Colorado’s donor base skewed toward older donors who made gifts using checkboxes on their utility bills. In order to expand that donor base to younger generations, the nonprofit had to become more effective in using online channels. Energy Outreach Colorado wanted to create an engaging, multi-touch point online communication plan that made it easier for younger generations to donate and kept them involved year-round.
